Compatible with both wired and wireless Xbox 360 controllers, the cable is 4 feet in length, with a mute switch and volume control on the puck portion of the cable, and connects to most headsets that have a Xbox 360 2.55mm cable input jack.
The mute switch on the puck is a lifesaver during late-night gaming sessions when I need to cough or talk to someone without my squad hearing everything. Volume control works smoothly too, and it connected right up to my wireless controller without any fuss.
The 4-foot cord is honestly the perfect length for my setup, long enough to reach the couch without getting tangled everywhere. I've got the volume dial right there on the puck so I can adjust chat without pausing the game. Works fine with my wireless controller too, no complaints at all.
The mute switch on the puck is the feature I use most, since I can kill chat audio without fumbling for the controller. Four feet is just enough to reach from my couch setup, and the volume dial has a nice firm click.
