Plugged this into my 2600 and it fired right up, no buzzing or getting hot like the old one did. The cord length is generous enough to reach my shelf without a struggle. Solid replacement for a US console.
My original brick died years ago and I'd been putting off replacing it, but this one snapped right in and my 2600 fired up on the first try. It's noticeably heavier than the flimsy third-party one I tried before, which gives me some confidence it'll actually last.
Wasn't sure a new adapter would feel as solid as the old brick, but this thing has some real weight to it. Plugged it straight into my US 2600 and it fired right up, no buzzing or flickering. Nice to know it won't work on my 7800, so I don't accidentally fry that one.
