HyperPodium 4-Port GameCube Controller Base for Nintendo Switch - Hyperkin

Everyone at our weekly Smash night kept fighting over who got to use it first. Sliding it into the dock took me about ten seconds, and the four ports mean no one’s sitting out waiting for a turn. It’s the cleanest way I’ve found to bring the old controllers back to life on the Switch.

Plugged it into my dock and had four GameCube controllers working in under a minute—the snug fit into the Switch dock is surprisingly clean and stable. My friends and I finally get to play Smash like it’s 2001 again without any finicky adapters cluttering the TV stand.

Having four GameCube pads ready to go for Smash nights is exactly what I wanted, and the dock insert is way tidier than a tangle of adapters. Only gripe is that the ports are stiff at first, so you really have to push the plugs in until they loosen up.
